These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Rini transcription service (“Service”) provided by Rini Speech Technologies Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in India (CIN [CIN]), with its registered office at [REGISTERED ADDRESS] (“Rini”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Rini lets you upload audio and video files and receive machine-generated transcripts, with features such as timestamps, speaker labels, editing, and export. Transcription is produced by automated speech-recognition models and is provided on an “as is” basis; accuracy is not guaranteed and varies with audio quality, language, and content.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to use the Service.

3. Credits and payment

The Service is offered on a prepaid-credit basis. You purchase credits (denominated in audio-minutes) in Indian Rupees, and credits are consumed based on the actual audio length processed. Prices and applicable taxes are shown at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; we do not store your full card details. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the audio, video, and transcripts you upload or generate (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. You represent that you have the necessary rights and consents to upload Your Content and to have it transcribed, including consent of any identifiable individuals recorded, and that Your Content does not violate any law or third-party right.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • upload content you do not have the right to process, or that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
  • resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features are under active development and may change. We may suspend or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rini is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on machine-generated transcripts. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms. Unused credits are handled per the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at [CITY, STATE] shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
